Taz: simple. it is done in varying ways depending on what tech is being used, but for what we do here... we use a mix of an implanted chip and visor together to get it done. i do need your written consent for this though, here's the contract.
[REDACTED]: oh, i see. i don't want this to take long, can you give me a brief overview on it?
Taz: you will be "dronified" for how ever long you specified with zach in the hiring process. you get free housing here, along with plenty of nutritious foods to keep you healthy, at the price of your free will. you will accept commands from your superiors and proceed with them, no questions asked. your body is being used, not your mind. most of this will entail pure physical work, including moving inventory and fetching things we need. the whole time, you concience is dormant, fed stimulation by the visor and chip to keep your brain satisfied.

Taz: *startled* that quickly?
[REDACTED]: currently i am not in a good spot in life. taking a month off to be completely asleep for a while for some cash is the dream right now.
Taz: i see. you will get your payment as soon as your time is up. if you want to continue your employment we can assist you when you "wake up".
[REDACTED]: got it. *signs* w-what's the second signature for?
Taz: *sheepish* we're gay. you'll get paid more, but it's not required.

Taz: welcome to the team, [REDACTED], or should i say, DC-0005.
Taz: i'm about all set up; all sanitized with my equipment and everything... are you ready [REDACTED]? this is your last chance to back out.
[REDACTED]: i'm ready Taz.
Taz: understood.
*Taz places a visor upon [REDACTED]'s face, securing it tightly against the back of his head.*
Taz: this is the visor. it will display some visuals that you will watch once i've placed the chip in.
*[REDACTED] gives a slight nod.*
*Taz grabs a syringe-like tool.*
Taz: please remain calm and hold still.
*Taz inserts the syringe into the back of [REDACTED]'s head slowly through a hole in the back of the headrest. pulling the trigger, the chip escapes into [REDACTED]'s brain cavity, with Taz pulling out the syringe.*
Taz: done. the headset should automatically connect to the chip.
[REDACTED]: eugh, that hurt a bit. will this need to be removed at the end?
Taz: the chip is harmless if kept inside. a surgery to remove it is free if desired, but will need to be reinserted if you choose to work with us again.
[REDACTED]: *sigh* guess we'll just have to wait and see if i li-
(visor): Welcome, DC-0005. Requesting permission to integrate from admin.
Taz: ready?
[REDACTED]: as much as i'll ever be.
Taz: initiate assimilation sequence DC-01 on patient.

*the visor begins to glow a hot shade of pink. the text ASSIMILATION PROGRESS: 0% shows on the outside. the inside shows a large spiral with text flashing on the screen. commands like "Relax" and "Submit" appear before [REDACTED]'s eyes.*
[REDACTED]: woah, this is.. we-weird...
*[REDACTED] is left mouth agape while the program shuts neural function down and replaces it with it's own. tendrils of rubber start to flow out from both the visor and the chair, slowly engulfing the drone's body in a smooth, shiny coating.*
Taz: entry number 6523: employee number DC-0005's assimilation is proceeding as normal. subject was very enthused about the employment, so much as to ignore the contract and wanting to hear the details from me directly. subject was very calm during the process, though reported a sign of pain due to the injection, a new issue that has yet to be seen in other subjects. this is an issue that must be resolved soon; flag issue with high priority. end of entry 6523.
*DC-0005's assimilation completes, with body completely covered with rubber, mind completely nulled, and issues avoided. the drone's body lay's motionless, mindless, lifeless, waiting for input from admin.*

*the drone's body raises from the bed almost robotically, it's movements made efficient wnd without error. it gets up and follows Taz out of the room, ready to don it's uniform and start work.*
